Terence R. McAllister, MD, FAAP Dr. McAllister was born and raised in Andover, Massachusetts. The fourth of five sons, Dr. McAllister was educated at Philip's Academy Andover, Colby College and Tufts School of Medicine. After graduating from medical school in 2000, Dr. McAllister fulfilled a six-year commitment to the US Air Force stationed first at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio and then Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. When Major McAllister's military commitment ended in June 2006, he decided to return to his home-state of Massachusetts to start Performance Pediatrics.Dr. McAllister is a board-certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). He is credentialed with Jordan Hospital in Plymouth and Children's Hospital Boston. |

Rebecca J. Mark, CPNP, PMHS Rebecca has two important roles at Performance Pediatrics, that of a primary-care provider as well as our Medical Home Care Coordinator.Rebecca is a Certified Primary-Care Nurse Practitioner (CPNP), an advanced practice nurse who provides high-quality health care services similar to those of a doctor. CPNPs diagnose and treat a wide range of health concerns. Rebecca works under the supervision of Dr. McAllister providing routine and urgent care to her patients as well as acute care to Dr. McAllister's established patients when he is not available. In addition to providing primary care to patients, Rebecca is our Care Coordinator, a critical part of the Medical Home program we participate in via our membership in the Pediatric Physicians' Organization at Children's Hospital Boston (PPOC). A Medical Home is designed to meet the needs of children and youth while enhancing the care-giving capabilities of families. In her role of Care Coordinator, Rebecca addresses interrelated medical, social, developmental, behavioral, educational and financial needs to achieve optimal health and wellness outcomes for our patients. Rebecca has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tulsa and a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. Rebecca is also a certified Pediatric Mental Health Specialist (PMHS). Originally from New Mexico, Rebecca moved to Massachusetts several years ago with her husband Jacob, a medical student at Boston University. |
