Children's Hospital Boston  We are proud of our relationship with Children's Hospital Boston (CHB) and encourage our patients to utilize their extensive website. We are one of the primary care groups that comprise the Pediatric Physicians' Organization at Children's (PPOC) which enhances our ability to deliver the highest quality patient care to the children we serve. Although there are many useful links at the CHB website, many of our families have found the "My Child Has..." informational pages to be especially helpful.

Massachusetts Department of Public Health  They are dedicated to their mission, to serve all the people in the Commonwealth, particularly the under served, and to promote healthy people, healthy families, healthy communities and healthy environments through compassionate care, education and prevention.

Mass 2-1-1  Every day, someone somewhere in Massachusetts needs to find an essential services: An after school program, a food bank, or where to secure care for an aging parent. Many face these challenges, but don't always know where to turn for help. 2-1-1 is an easy to remember telephone number that connects callers to confidential information, 24/7, about critical health and human services available in their community.

Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts  The mission of PPLM is to protect and promote sexual and reproductive health by providing clinical services, education and advocacy.


Ask Dr. Sears  This is one of our favorite sites for straight-forward, easy to understand pediatric information for parents and care givers. After raising eight children and practicing pediatric medicine for more than 30 years, Drs. Bill & Martha Sears have answered questions from thousands of parents.

HealthyChildren.org Whether you have a question about a specific condition or are looking for general guidance, one of the sources we trust is the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). This site is relatively new and is still a work in progress.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention  CDC, as the sentinel for the health of people in the United States and throughout the world, strives to protect people’s health and safety, provide reliable health information, and improve health through strong partnerships.

The National Network for Immunization is designed to provide healthcare professionals, the media, policy makers, and the public with up-to-date, scientifically valid information related to immunization. The site provides the latest immunization news, a vaccine information database, a guide to evaluating vaccination information on the Web, FAQs on childhood vaccines, a state-by-state database of immunization requirements for entry into school, and more.

Families for Depression Awareness helps families, especially family caregivers and friends, recognize and cope with unipolar and bipolar depression. The organization provides education, outreach and advocacy to support families and friends. Families for Depression Awareness is made up of families who have lost a family member to suicide or have watched a loved one suffer with depression, with little knowledge about how to help.

PAX--Real Solutions to Gun Violence  For too long, gun violence in America has been perceived as a political debate rather than what it really is - an urgent public health crisis that is claiming the lives of 8 children and teens every day. PAX has created two groundbreaking national campaigns, ASK and SPEAK UP, that make the gun violence issue a matter of public health and safety - not politics - and create the foundation for changes in social attitudes, behaviors and public policy that have previously been considered impossible.
